The first shade that I tried was “Lover.” I was apprehensive because most pink shades don’t do well with my skin tone, but I was very pleased with this one. It went on smoothly, but the first application was patchy, so I had to apply a second layer. The lipstick has a dovestick applicator and smelled really good! This would be a really good lipstick to wear in professional settings as well. I will definitely be adding this to my business casual make up look. Here is a photo below.
The second shade that I tried was “Pioneer.” True make up junkies know that all Red lipstick shades were not created equal, but I loved this one!! The application went on smoothly and the smell was also amazing with this one. This shade was very pigmented and I got away with only applying one coat. The application is quite sticky at first, but it did dry down smoothly to a more matte finish. The lipstick isn’t drying at all. I loved this Red, it’s actually one of the best that I’ve ever tried. Overall, I love these lipsticks. They are the best Drugstore Liquid Lipstick that I have tried. They are reasonably priced at around $7.94 at local drugstores, so you can’t go wrong with that as most liquid lipsticks cost an arm and a leg, lol. As far as removal, they are very hard to remove. I tried wiping it off with a make-up remover wipe, but that wasn’t enough. I ended up having to apply Coconut Oil to my lips first and then scrub it off. I would honestly recommend these lipsticks if you are interested in trying them. I look forward to adding them to my make-up regimen. The best part of all, both of these shades were Brown Girl Friendly, which I appreciated! I would rate these lipsticks a 4/5.
I experienced the same thing, when trying to take off the red lipstick, it was the struggle. The shades look beautiful on you Cree 🙂
